Native to South East Asia, the turmeric plant has been used for thousands of years as both a cooking spice and a natural aid. It’s part of the Zingiberaceae family, which also includes ginger, and its potential benefits lie in the turmeric root.

Between 2-6% of turmeric consists of curcuminoids, active plant compounds, most of which is curcumin. Curcumin gives turmeric its yellow colour and has been isolated by scientists as its most important active ingredient.

This high strength turmeric supplement helps to support digestion.
